The inspiration for Winky's Whimsies came from our beloved childhood dog, Winky. In 2022, Winky was diagnosed with diabetes. Following this diagnosis, Winky required many life-saving procedures to continue living a vibrant life. As Winky's medical bills continued to add up, we needed a way to support him. This support took the form of our shop, Winky's Whimsies. We were inspired by Winky's love for a variety of toys and the joy he got from opening Christmas presents. Every order comes with a Winky sticker to honor his legacy and the joy that he brought into our lives.

Fun fact: We change up the Winky stickers for holidays and special events. Try to collect them all! 

Winky (2010-2024)

Since 2022, our small business has grown bigger than we could have imagined. When we first started, we were fulfilling orders out of our living room. Now we have two warehouse spaces filled with fidgets and plushies! Not only do we carry countless brands, but we also have begun creating our own products. In January 2025, we launched our first plushie brand called Fruity Felines® on our website! They were a huge success and we received hundreds of pre-orders. In May 2025, we launched our Scary Cat collection on Backerkit and raised over $50,000 in funding to help them come to life!
